WEBVTT 00:00:10.000 --> 00:00:14.000 Hi, I'm William Pegg with Robalo Boats here to take you on a product tour of the 00:00:14.000 --> 00:00:20.000 newest dual console in the Robalo lineup, the R257. 00:00:20.000 --> 00:00:25.000 Coming in with a length overall of 25 feet 3 inches and a beam of 9 feet 2 The 00:00:25.000 --> 00:00:28.000 R257 has plenty of room for you and your crew to get out on the water and make 00:00:28.000 --> 00:00:32.000 countless memories. This boat is extremely versatile. Whether you're looking to run 00:00:32.000 --> 00:00:37.000 offshore in search of big fish or simply cruise to your local sandbar, this boat 00:00:37.000 --> 00:00:41.000 is sure to get the job done. The bow features deep U-shaped seating. These fold 00:00:41.000 --> 00:00:45.000 -down armrests pair nicely with the wrap-around bolsters and stainless-steel bow rails 00:00:45.000 --> 00:00:49.000 to provide comfort and stability. All the cushions in the bow are standard and 00:00:49.000 --> 00:00:53.000 removable. When removed, they give way to a large casting deck covered in diamond 00:00:53.000 --> 00:00:57.000 pattern nonskid. Underneath each of these bow seats, you will find two deep 00:00:57.000 --> 00:01:01.000 insulated storage compartments. Notice the integrated latching system allows you to 00:01:01.000 --> 00:01:05.000 open the compartment without removing the cushion. You have another deep storage 00:01:05.000 --> 00:01:10.000 compartment here in the center of the bow floor. Forward center under this cushion, 00:01:10.000 --> 00:01:14.000 you will find a deep insulated cooler. Up on the four deck, we have two stainless 00:01:14.000 --> 00:01:17.000 steel pull-up pleats and an anchor locker. Inside the anchor locker, this particular 00:01:17.000 --> 00:01:22.000 model has the optional recessed windlass system, which makes anchoring effortless. When 00:01:22.000 --> 00:01:26.000 you're looking to drop the anchor, simply use the switches found here or up at the 00:01:26.000 --> 00:01:32.000 helm. Before we make our way into the cockpit, notice the oversized hardtop. 00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:37.000 This hardtop is massive and well supported by a large, stylish, D-shaped, powder 00:01:37.000 --> 00:01:41.000 coated frame, and it casts a great amount of shade. The hardtop features dual 00:01:41.000 --> 00:01:46.000 storage boxes, four speakers, LED spreader lights, six rod holders, and even a ski 00:01:46.000 --> 00:01:51.000 tow. Moving back, we have a single-piece bow close-up door which pairs nicely with 00:01:51.000 --> 00:01:55.000 the new low-profile windshield to help fight the elements on those cold windy or 00:01:55.000 --> 00:01:59.000 rainy days. We have access to another storage compartment here on the side with a 00:01:59.000 --> 00:02:04.000 trash can built into the door. To port, you will find a lockable glovebox as well 00:02:04.000 --> 00:02:08.000 as the head compartment. To access the head compartment, simply pull the handle down 00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:12.000 and the door will swing to center. As you can see, the head compartment has a 00:02:12.000 --> 00:02:16.000 large entrance so it's easy to access and get in and out of. The head compartment 00:02:16.000 --> 00:02:21.000 itself is very spacious and has many great features including an opening port light, 00:02:21.000 --> 00:02:26.000 mirror, solid surface countertop, stainless steel sink, faucet and storage below. You 00:02:26.000 --> 00:02:29.000 have another large storage compartment here in the center of the floor as well. 00:02:29.000 --> 00:02:33.000 Perfect for larger items such as fenders and safety kits. Stepping up to the helm, 00:02:33.000 --> 00:02:39.000 we have a nice sleek design. In the center, you have a 12-inch Simrad NSS-12 with 00:02:39.000 --> 00:02:43.000 chart plotter and multi-function display. To both sides of the screen, we have 00:02:43.000 --> 00:02:47.000 stainless LED push button switches for systems throughout the boat such as lights, 00:02:47.000 --> 00:02:51.000 bilge, and your horn. This particular model features the optional Lenco Pro trim tab 00:02:51.000 --> 00:02:56.000 system. Moving down, we have a black leather wrap steering wheel on the tilt base, 00:02:56.000 --> 00:03:01.000 JL audio system control knob, push to start switches and your heading sensors. 00:03:01.000 --> 00:03:05.000 Looking starboard you will also notice your shifter and optional joystick control, a 00:03:05.000 --> 00:03:11.000 wireless phone charger, dual USB and USB-C ports as well as a cup holder. 00:03:11.000 --> 00:03:16.000 The helm also features this custom helm seat with a fiberglass backing and a flip 00:03:16.000 --> 00:03:20.000 -up bolster. As we make our way further back into the cockpit we have our new port 00:03:20.000 --> 00:03:24.000 split bench seating system. This seat can either be used as two back-to-back seats 00:03:24.000 --> 00:03:31.000 or an aft facing sun lounge. Underneath this seat you also have a large cooler that 00:03:31.000 --> 00:03:36.000 will function as a great dry storage option. Over here we have the entertainment 00:03:36.000 --> 00:03:40.000 center which includes a stainless-steel sink, pull out sprayer, two stainless-steel 00:03:40.000 --> 00:03:45.000 cup holders, a USB and 12 volt charging port, a stainless-steel grab rail, And to 00:03:45.000 --> 00:03:50.000 pull out drawer housing, your custom Robalo embroidered Engel cooler. Moving back, we 00:03:50.000 --> 00:03:54.000 have rod storage built in the starboard gunnel with stainless steel toe rails. There 00:03:54.000 --> 00:03:58.000 are two 50-gallon fish boxes with macerator pumps built into the floor of the 00:03:58.000 --> 00:04:03.000 cockpit, perfect for holding ice or fish. To port, you will also notice a 30 gallon 00:04:03.000 --> 00:04:08.000 live-well with LED lighting and adjustable flow valve, as well as another great 00:04:08.000 --> 00:04:13.000 feature that you don't see on many 25-foot dual consoles, a side entry door. The 00:04:13.000 --> 00:04:16.000 side entry door provides a great entry and exit point tuned from the boat at the 00:04:16.000 --> 00:04:20.000 dock. If you opt for the side entry reboarding ladder, it will mount here 00:04:20.000 --> 00:04:24.000 underneath, making getting in and out of the water easier than ever. The last 00:04:24.000 --> 00:04:27.000 seating option is a fold away bench seat that lies in the center of the aft 00:04:27.000 --> 00:04:32.000 cockpit. The bench seat folds flush into the transom wall, greatly increasing the 00:04:32.000 --> 00:04:37.000 cockpit space. To deploy the seat, simply pull the top handle towards you. When the 00:04:37.000 --> 00:04:40.000 seat is put away, you can pull the bottom handle up and this will give you a 00:04:40.000 --> 00:04:45.000 large, best-in-class bilge access. Last but not least, you have six rod holders 00:04:45.000 --> 00:04:49.000 built into the transom wall. As we make our way to the swim platform, we have a 00:04:49.000 --> 00:04:54.000 self-locking transom walkthrough door and dedicated storage for your battery switch. 00:04:54.000 --> 00:04:57.000 Looking at the swim platform, you will notice a lid. If you open this lid, you 00:04:57.000 --> 00:05:02.000 will find a four-step re-boarding ladder. This lid has tension hinges, so it will 00:05:02.000 --> 00:05:05.000 hold the lid up, giving you hands-free access when entering the boat from the 00:05:05.000 --> 00:05:10.000 water. As far as power options go for the R257, you're looking at either twin 200s, 00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:15.000 twin 150s, or a single 350. All motor options do a great job at getting the boat 00:05:15.000 --> 00:05:20.000 where it needs to go while remaining efficient. Hopefully you enjoy the R257 product 00:05:20.000 --> 00:05:25.000 tour. For more information on the R257, visit Robalo.com, where we have our virtual 00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:29.000 boat builder.
