WEBVTT 00:00:10.000 --> 00:00:13.000 Hi, I'm William Pegg, with Robalo, here to take you on a product tour of the new 00:00:13.000 --> 00:00:19.000 and improved R160. That's right, it's back, everybody's favorite 16-footer. Coming in 00:00:19.000 --> 00:00:23.000 at an LOA of 16 feet 4 inches and a beam of 7 feet, this boat is everything you 00:00:23.000 --> 00:00:27.000 want and more in a small center console. console. Sporting best in class 22 inches 00:00:27.000 --> 00:00:30.000 of freeboard it is sure to keep you drier and safer on those days with rougher 00:00:30.000 --> 00:00:35.000 seas. This boat features many welcoming additions such as a new integrated 24 gallon 00:00:35.000 --> 00:00:39.000 fuel tank, a new leaning post, a larger swim platform and so much more. Let's climb 00:00:39.000 --> 00:00:46.000 aboard and take a closer look. 00:00:46.000 --> 00:00:49.000 Starting up front in the bow we have a center cleat on the foredeck and a large 00:00:49.000 --> 00:00:53.000 casting deck covered in diamond powder non-skid. The diamond powder non-skid is easy 00:00:53.000 --> 00:00:57.000 on the feet and very easy to clean and maintain. As you can see there's plenty of 00:00:57.000 --> 00:01:01.000 room to walk around and sling some cast. Underneath the casting deck we have a 16 00:01:01.000 --> 00:01:05.000 and a half gallon insulated overboard draining storage compartment. This is a great 00:01:05.000 --> 00:01:10.000 spot to store some ice or a great dry storage option. These tension hinges keep the 00:01:10.000 --> 00:01:14.000 lid up so there's no need to worry about it collapsing on your hands. These 00:01:14.000 --> 00:01:16.000 stainless steel grab rails are great when you have somebody sitting on the casting 00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:21.000 deck and provide stability when moving back on the rougher days on the water. Moving 00:01:21.000 --> 00:01:24.000 back, we have a nice seat here on the front of the console with three rod holders 00:01:24.000 --> 00:01:28.000 on either side. The cushions on this seat as well as all other cushions on the 00:01:28.000 --> 00:01:32.000 boat are thick, comfortable and happen to be made from Envision silicone. Envision 00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:36.000 silicone is stain, mildew and UV resistant and it is easy to clean and maintain for 00:01:36.000 --> 00:01:41.000 years to come. Behind this back cushion, you'll find easy access to where all of 00:01:41.000 --> 00:01:45.000 your wiring is. And finally, underneath this bottom seat, you'll find your insulated 00:01:45.000 --> 00:01:50.000 live well. Stepping up to the helm, we have a very nice layout. Up top, this boat 00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:53.000 is the optional fold -down windshield, making it easier to store in smaller areas, 00:01:53.000 --> 00:01:57.000 like your garage. We have two molded storage trays on the top of the console with 00:01:57.000 --> 00:02:02.000 pads for cushion, as well as a compass. Moving down, we have two standard analog 00:02:02.000 --> 00:02:06.000 gauges, your standard Clarion head unit for your sound system and waterproof toggle 00:02:06.000 --> 00:02:11.000 switches. A 7-inch Simrad touchscreen display is also a great option for this boat. 00:02:11.000 --> 00:02:15.000 It would occupy the center portion of the dash. Next, we have our steering wheel on 00:02:15.000 --> 00:02:20.000 a tilt base, ignition and kill switch, your throttle, two cup holders, stainless 00:02:20.000 --> 00:02:25.000 steel grab rail, and a recessed angled footrest below to stretch your legs. Your 00:02:25.000 --> 00:02:28.000 seating option at the helm is this powder coated leading post designed to comfortably 00:02:28.000 --> 00:02:32.000 fit two passengers. It has nice, thick cushioning that extends down to offer more 00:02:32.000 --> 00:02:36.000 support for the backs of your legs. Underneath, you have a standard carry-on cooler 00:02:36.000 --> 00:02:40.000 kept in place by the Ease Keeper tabs. Notice the extra wide gunnels for safe 00:02:40.000 --> 00:02:45.000 boarding, seating, and the ability to add two additional rod holders. Moving back 00:02:45.000 --> 00:02:49.000 into the aft cockpit, we have two flip -up jump seats. When seated, you will notice 00:02:49.000 --> 00:02:53.000 a cup holder down low, as well as a stainless-steel grab rail on the gunnel. 00:02:53.000 --> 00:02:57.000 Underneath the port seat, you'll find dedicated storage for a 5-gallon bucket and 00:02:57.000 --> 00:03:01.000 underneath the starboard seat we have more storage and easy access to your battery 00:03:01.000 --> 00:03:05.000 switch. Moving back to the transom area we have a nice swim platform with a 00:03:05.000 --> 00:03:09.000 recessed 3 step telescoping ladder and two stainless steel grab rails to assist you 00:03:09.000 --> 00:03:13.000 in getting back into the boat. For power options on the R160 we are looking at 00:03:13.000 --> 00:03:17.000 either a 70 or 90 horsepower Yamaha. You can't go wrong with either option. The 00:03:17.000 --> 00:03:21.000 R160 boasts Robalo's extended V -plane hole design, which provides stability and stern 00:03:21.000 --> 00:03:25.000 buoyancy to give this boat its shallow 12-inch strap to cruise through skinner bays 00:03:25.000 --> 00:03:29.000 and harbors. Thanks for joining me aboard the R -160. If you have any more questions 00:03:29.000 --> 00:03:33.000 on this model, feel free to head over to R160.com where we have our custom bow 00:03:33.000 --> 00:03:37.000 builder.
